Entry 23a: Spirits of the future's past

While I am on watch I hear a voice in my head speaking that spoke to me saying
"Nevada Smith, Patron Saint of Intrigue. Pleased to meet you, Saint Grey."
"and by the way, nice job at the research center...there is no bluff like a bluff on oneself, eh?"

We conversed a bit, and he tells me about the Templar, a group of warriors fighting the good fight against the who gain power from great spirits of the past (the saints). The Templar only help those considered worthy, which while it seems harsh, I agree with to some degree. It is not worth the life of a useful ally to save someone who will end up dying in a few days anyway, although if I can save someone without significant risk to myself and my allies I certainly will.

It would appear that being in close proximity to the time rift caused a small bit of the future to travel back and be able to interact with us (and in the hunting grounds time works differently), which led to Saint Grey visiting me. I have no doubt the others are having similar experiences to mine. It is also interesting to note that he implied I became a saint myself in the future.

He has also shown me some of the fighting techniques the Templar use in the future and I have begun to train in wielding both of my rifles in melee in addition to being able to fire both at the same time.

Entry 22a: I Remember everything, now I can feel your pain.

I ... have regained my memories using the device, everything I am is a lie and perhaps I was the monster. I suppose I knew that already, but I chose to ignore it before. I worked in the agency that much is obvious. I was a scientist working on advance technology, but I was also one of their best agents, I felt no pity for the monsters I had to destroy for they felt none for us.

So is it any wonder that upon discovering a powerful bomb the size of a suitcase that could destroy our enemies without having to risk the lives of valuable agents I would jump on the opportunity to study and test it. When I was ordered to test them on a town completely overrun with cultist I smiled at the though that I could stop them before they killed hundreds of innocents and dozens of agents while trying to root them out.

When I watched from a distance after setting them off I saw reality break as fire consumed the town, I admit a certain level of satisfaction in the sight and my ability to not react to it at the time. After the most dangerous of the effects wore out I rushed into the town to survey the effects of the bomb to report to my superiors and to study/improve them.

Wandering through the town, empty and on fire I began to have my first doubts, what if this fell into the wrong hands, the thought of these being used on the innocent BY the cultists was horrifying and hellish. Then I thought about it and wondered what would happen if there were well entrenched cultists, but someone might use it to destroy them and the surrounding innocents just to make it easier on the agents. I heard a scream and saw a child, I rushed over to find two children, unconcious and injured from the blast, it's a miracle they survived at all. Given hindsight this was probably Colleen and Cookies. Something practically compelled me to pick them up and drag them to a nearby hospital and created false records so the agency wouldn't find out where they were from without  a deep search and by then they would have bigger problems.

At this point in my memories I was furious, this went beyond bad Intel, this was a deliberate setup to test a super-weapon on a town which at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it had NO cultists at all. Upon returning I put on a mask of calm, perfected by years of practice and set my plans in motion to destroy all records of the Copperfield bombs and kill everyone who knew about them by setting up massive amounts of explosives in my lab, then wipe my own memory so even that would be denied to the agency. In hindsight, it was very likely something was influencing my emotions, but I am glad they did, or who knows how much more damage could have been caused.

I also remember I was the right hand woman of Ghost aka the kindred spirit sending me the messages. Apparently ghost seems to be everywhere in the Agency and knows just about everything in the agency

For obvious reasons I will stop attempting to reverse engineer the Copperfield rounds I had salvaged from Jackie's spend shots and stop taunting smoke about his part in the Copperfield bombs. That would seem immensely hypocritical at this point.

Luckily Ziggy was more interested in learning a new language and didn't look to closely or he might have noticed that I was crying after using the interface. And luckily the chamber was flooded so I could splash my face and claim I just got wet to throw off the rest of the troupe.

My ... family. I can't tell them, they need me to protect them, but if they knew they would kill me or doubt me in a moment where I could have saved them.

Especially Colleen and Smoke, while they are both pacifists, I could not bear to see the betrayal in their eyes if I told them. No, it's better to keep this to myself and try to make it up to them, knowing nothing I could ever do will redeem my soul for my actions.

Also a tragic thought is that despite saving many of the Aliens (known as crossbreeds in the future apparently), it is incredibly unlikely that any of them will survive without their carefully maintained environments and systems and with a large portion of their military destroyed. And that is assuming Stone doesn't slaughter them in a rage/as collateral damage of his fight.

Entry 22b: Bull Moose's letter

A message from the ringmaster transcribed into the journal

Troopers-

Sorry, guys. Turns out the Harbinger of Death can really do a number on a fellow's entrance. I had planned to set everything straight, but once more, the universe has intervened, and the show must go on regardless. What may very well be my last words to you have to be Etched in my own goddamn blood onto alien hick armor.

Ah well. If the universe accommodated our desires, it wouldn't need people like us.

That brings me to our current predicament. See, right now, I've got to get back into the Hunting Grounds and stabilize the portal; if we lose that link, neither Jackie nor I can get back, and more importantly the Law Dogs never get the portal for a power source, which is even more damaging than Stone turning the whole place into a Deadland.

That, unfortunately, leaves you guys to carry out the work I was planning on doing. Right now, the Agency and the Rangers are at each other's throats, which is a huge drain on the two organizations best placed to keep the Reckoners and their servants down. As long as they're busy playing Spy vs. Spy, good men and women are dying out there and saving the fearmongers the trouble. I was well on my way to stopping that in 1876, but there's rather a lot of rock in the way of my counterpart--besides which, I was a bit of a wild child just after I died. Better for you to do this, believe me. Thankfully, we've got an opportunity like none other...I can't believe I'm calling Gomorrah an opportunity.

Look...the town of Gomorrah isn't anymore. It's off by the Maze; check a damn map. It wasn't much of a town when it was there, and it just got a hell of a lot worse, what with the manitou Knicknevin materializing and running amok. He had help, but the more immediately important issue is that both the Agency's spooks and the Rangers lost...many .Josef Rocescu, Mr. Slate, Johnny Quaid, Boom-Boom O’ Bannon, The Pennsylvania Kid, Melissa Thomas, Zeke Beauchamp, Tombstone Frank, Danny Hamilton, Bartholomew Prospectus… I liked the Kid, dammit. Also, and you may want to break this to Waltzing gently...Joeseph Eyes-Like-Rain is dead. Tread gently around the Sioux.

Perhaps this warning would've been better given BEFORE you got miles deep into the Sioux Nations and right next to the huge issue they have in Deadwood. That would've made sense.

Anyway, I built the Law Dogs from the ground up after the Agents and Rangers flailed senselessly against the remnants in Gomorrah. You all can and must do better. I know Capt. Katie Karl, the Ranger in charge. She wants this stupid cold war to end, and now she's got a reason; she just can't see it yet. Find her a case for going to the Agency with her head held high, get the Agency's man Cort Williams on board, and your work'll be half done. Do me a favor and call it the Law Dogs. I had a club named that as a boy; it'd help me find it once I come back to myself. Guess you could call it the Family, too--you all look like you're getting along well enough like one.

In a larger sense, well, everything's gone to shit, and I'm fairly sure you're the only ones who can get it even partially back. You know about the Reckoners, of course, and you know they work through fear. Problem is, we've got way too many guns out there, and if the bogeyman disappears quietly as he came, everyone's expecting him back, if you take my meaning. We need people out there looking out for the little guys, patching up the world on a local level as well. As saccharine as it sounds, we need heroes better than the stone cold badasses we deserve, and that means you goofballs, with all your surprising capabilities. You guys carry some mighty big sticks; just make sure you speak softly, too.

As for me, I've got a big glowing exit cue right behind me. There's a lot of work to be done shooing the vermin away from the portal and reconnecting it, and I've got Jackie to find and the Heart to get installed. Keep that staff; when I've got the portal back up and running, it should reenergize the collectors and start it pinging several dozen damage indicators. Once it gets going, we'll need you uptime, but for now, you've got your, or rather my, work cut out for you. Get Gomorrah's secret agencies working together, and I'll bet you'll figure out the rest; I did, and you're much sharper than I. Good luck; I've got a show to give, and the show, no matter when, must go on.

Entry 22: Between a Stone and a Hard Place

Then as we were planning our assault, all hell broke loose.
Stone showed up behind us and shot Ziggy, which also alerted the aliens to our presence. Jackie ran into the room, but she cant fire her spirit fucker rounds near the rift and so can't break through the glass encasing it. This prompted Smoke to curse her out saying "Take my gun you dumb bitch" (Which considering the ... tension between them was rather reasonable of him) and she began to shoot the glass. At this point Coleen was terrified so I ran to protect her while shooting at stone.

When the glass was broken, almost all noise was drowned out by screams of the damned and a vicious wind. Smoke pulls out another bomb causing the aliens to attempt to flee, although I am still not sure which of the catastrophes was the true cause of that. The high tech priest zapped Ziggy with his gun, nearly flooring him, but well it didn't hit his head. Cassanova grabs colleen and takes her away from stone while I shot stone with my ray guns, but moments before they could impact he reached out and CAUGHT the energy. Smoke gives Jackie the stone and tells her to run through the portal to get rid of it.

When she did so, stone became furious emitting waves of hatred that were practically immobilizing. To this day I still recall his words "I'm gonna kill all of you." with a cold fury that dwarfed the hatred rolling off of him. And none of us doubted we would die that day, but we wouldn't make it easy for him. Suddenly the metal plate blocking the portal flew off and slammed into Stone and a figure emerged from the portal saying revealing none other than the ringmaster himself.
"It takes more than that to kill Bull Moose*!" he proclaimed before stone began to fire at him with his guns that we later discovered could "hit anything and everything even if it doesn't exist" although since the ringmaster was able to dodge them all I assume that means it can hit, but does not automatically hit. Then the ringmaster began to fire what appeared to be a laser chain gun shooting glowing green rays (which he called a spirit broom).

Apparently the ringmaster was able to survive the explosion (as was stone), but it took him some time to crawl out of the Grand Canyon. The ringmaster tells us to "Get out, get to Gemora"  and that we were the ones who start the organization Jackie is a part of that combines the agency and the Texas rangers (We clearly had a lot of work to do on that though). We will need to flee down through the maze and into the caverns since we can no longer escape through the roof. Kacie puts the heart in a machine while stone grabs Ziggy by the throat (at a distance) and heals back up while growing larger.
Stone and the ringmaster begin trying to kill each other in full, which we take as our cue to leave. Smoke takes the high tech-priest's staff and we blow a hole in the side wall to my strenuous objections(4 powercells detonated) to escape the fight by going to the floor below.

The tower began flooding from the water being pumped through the walls now having an outlet and the ramp down is collapsed, we went down a hole where there is less flooding and past the training maze into the cavers where we encountered 4 alien creatures (different ones that were more insectoid with strange bodies, biting and stinging). We fight them off, but they were vicious and stealthy so we were limping out of the tower. Once we are outside we learn that the staff Smoke claimed allowed the user to teleport to various places in the tower. so we use it to teleport to free the child, loot the armory and the hospital and rescue the trapped aliens (as well as giving them supplies). It was then that I hooked myself up to the main interface, while aware of the risk since that level was close to flooding (on a delicate electric chair inerface), but I needed to know what my dreams wanted me to remember.

It turns out. I remembered ... everything ... I will write more on that when I am more composed, it is too much to deal with at the moment.
The interface also gave me the ability to see every inch of the tower and fully granted me the knowledge of the Alien language.

Ziggy also wanted the knowledge of the language so insisted despite the rising water level that he be able to use the machine, and managed to do so in time to escape before the water began damage the interface.

After we got everything we needed from the tower we began to fly back to the town using the flight belts we ... salvaged.

*It would appear that Teddy Roosevelt is also a harrowed and was in disguise as the ringmaster setting events (us) in motion to stop stone,

Entry 21: Tech heresy

After we dealt with the child, we went down a ramp that went down about 50-60ft, and as we went down we began to hear a constant low chatter of echoes.  AS we got to the bottom, with no warning an alarm began blaring through the corridors and stopped just as suddenly half a minute or so later (we figured it must not actually be an alarm, but possibly a dinner bell or summons of some sort). With that worry put to rest (mostly), Colleen began to scout ahead as we descended further.

While Colleen is impressively good at going unnoticed, we were not prepared for a wall to drop behind us and trap us with 4 of the Creatures that were farming above, although these had armor, helmets, guns and goggles.  Apparently Ziggy's attempts to communicate with the kid were quite productive, as he tried to talk the creatures out of attacking us (the conversation loosely translated to "Not Enemy" "Cattle, Xenomorph, Shit" "Not Cattle" "No. Targets!" before they began shooting).  Colleen and Smoke decided that it would be a good time to get into an insult fight.  Apparently these creatures have guns that shoot lasers, and after a brutal firefight with them, where they were shouting about some prophecy and doing their very best to kill us with their lasers, we defeated them and took their guns and make Colleen some makeshift armor out of scraps of theirs. Ziggy also cut their throats to make sure they were dead.

The guns are covered in the creatures writing, which I have begun to crack, due to having a decent amount of samples from our exploring and what we have taken from them, and a bit of luck. Apparently the guns have some sort of instructions for how to use them on them.

We went back up the ramp and reached the floor above the strange maze, this floor seemed warmer than the others, which since the caves seemed to be at a constant temperature before this likely meant this floor had something important on it.

Also it's at this point we learned that Smoke and Malady are not the best at sneaking, and what the Actual alarm sounded like, causing many more of the strange aliens to show up with guns and vests covered in their strange heiroglyphics. It did not look good for us. Colleen began to sing a hymn to try and calm them down. Interestingly these Aliens appeared less hostile, and one of them appears enthusiastic to see us (and has a device that can translate our languages, fascinating).  I was equally if not more happy to meet a fellow scientist from an alien race willing to trade knowledge with us, so we agree to follow him to his lab. When we got there there was screaming coming from it from a human miner being experimented on, when questioned the aliens seemed to not understand our ... concerns since they were given these people by Kang and therefore there was no problem with it, they also appeared to not know what Morphine or opium was so the humans being experimented on had no painkillers.

I talked to him for a bit longer (It's not the most horrifying thing I have seen, so I can keep up the facade in order to get more information) and he tells us there is a Reliquary across from his lab in passing. At this point Jackie has run out of patience and shouts at the war pleader, who tries to stun her, but she then unloads several bullets in his face, while Ziggy slashes the tube keeping the tormented miner alive to put him out of his misery. We get into a vicious fire fight with the 4 remaining tech priests which Smoke stunned with one of his working flash grenades while Casanova keeps them from getting to the heavy hitters.

I really wanted to salvage some of their tech, such as a belt that allows incredibly accelerated healing when used on someone and the power cells which are used in nearly all the alien technology. Unfortunately, Ziggy begins to attack Waltzing with his arm wreathed in supernatural flame shouting "Enjoy, Magic Man!" and Immolating Malady. I used a (broken apparently) ray gun to attempt to disable the manitou by shooting his body, but it wasn't enough and he pulls out the HoD (Not sure how he got it, the demon can't be trusted) and shouts "YOU WANT THIS STONE!" to our horror.

We managed to finish him off and kill the monster and a tech-priest. Apparently there is a medicine ball that when powered acts as an medkit, at this point Ziggy who is back in control is demanding to be healed although we did not have the time to do so, and to be honest, some of us didn't want to until we were safe (Smoke is now carrying the HoD, since we all know he wouldn't give in to stone for anything). Smoke throws an alien powercell into the hallway filling up with alien soldiers, which explodes catastrophically anihilating the enemy and damaging some of the labs, which started glowing green, purple and light blue. Ziggy grabs and uses the medball and we rush to the reliquary, when we open it the amount of alien tech in it made me giddy. "This is the jackpot!" I said, almost losing sight of the actual goal as I saw the room with rack after rack of the alien power cells, rayguns, vests, belts and an odd chair with a helmet at the far end of it.

At this point several more tech-priests are rushing to the scene to take back their sacred vault, and while smoke began threatening to throw his "patented" "Death grenades" to get them to back off. Meanwhile Ziggy is stuffing as much into the strange Boxlike container he found in the room. Smoke tried to shoot one of the aliens but ends up hitting Casanova. Meanwhile I am looking at the chair, which has a label in their strange language that reads "Main Interface Terminal", but I was needed in the fight so I left investigating that until later.

After fighting off the tech priests we rush to the portal room, which has 10 tech-priests and 10 alien guards all of whom had ray guns. Smoke began to open the door and found that there is a steel plate blocking a laser coming out of the rift. There is also an alien wearing red and white fabric who we concluded was the tech priest's leaders. Ziggy as usual wanted to burn things and pull out a vial of nitroglycerin, which was promptly shot down since throwing highly volatile explosives into a room with alien tech and an unstable rift was a horrifying idea.

Entry 20: First Contact

As we began to fly to the top of the tower, we spotted what looked like a military base that most likely belonged to Kang, the local Crime lord (member of the Triad) of the area who was working on building a railroad through the area. While Eric was navigating away from that we were attacked by huge Devil bats that appeared to be a monstrous combination of a bat and a huge shark.

They went directly for the ropes keeping the passenger basket attached to the plane itself, forcing Eric to angle us to at least crash into the top of the tower. I braced myself against the basket and managed to take out 2 of them with my rifles, while Ziggy attacked them with a stream of sparks.  Unfortunately that left two of them and they grabbed onto Vudulady and myself (causing me to drop one of my rifles) and began flying upwards. I shot the Bat holding Vudulady and Malady and Casanova shot the one carrying me, although this led to us falling. Ziggy heroically jumped out of the basket and onto the roof to catch Vudulady, while Waltzing Buffalo turned into an albatross to catch me.

After we fixed up our wound we saw a devil bat nest with 2 young devil bats in it, which we quickly eliminated before they called in more devil bats.  In the middle of the nest was a bizzare and freaky skeleton, and on its arm was a metal cage with claws and a cable that reached it's back, we also found a hand torch, which would glow if held. Mal decided to put the metal cage onto his arm, and it quickly bonded with his skin and the cable impaled his back. After Waltzing healed his injuries Mal found he could extend or retract the metal claws and it enhanced his strength.  When Jackie saw the arm cage and the hand torch she commented that it was far beyond the technology of her time, which was distressing.

We looked for a way into the tower and found an air vent hidden behind some bushes that were moving weirdly. The vent extended for nearly 100ft before we reached the bottom which had a stone path leading further into the tower. When we entered the tunnel we were attacked by flying manta rays, but as if that weren't weird enough, they exploded when they were shot (possibly due to using an explosive gas to allow them to 'fly'). Eventually the tunnel ended and opened up into a well illuminated room, with very well groomed plant life in neat ordered rows, the garden was being tended to by creatures that resembled a combination of pig, rhino and monkey, who were probably angry and shocked by our intrusion (although it was hard to read their facial cues). There were also foot long worms flipping through the dirt, and quite a few large wasps flying around.

Ziggy tried to convince them we weren't hostile, while I prepared for combat and braced myself against a tree to reduce the recoil of using both rifles.  After a bit of attempting to communicate with the creatures becoming increasingly Smoke fired one of his newest inventions (flash rounds), however like many of Smoke's inventions it malfunctioned and instead of blinding the creatures it exploded and incinerated several of them, causing the worms to immediately begin eating the corpses.  I took this as a cue to open fire, and killed two of them, and in response they hit me with a strange weapon (a staff with two ends crackling with energy) which felt like being hit by a sledgehammer attached to a live wire.  Lucky for me Waltzing used his healing magic to save me from becoming worm food. The creatures then attacked us again, and I was knocked out again (They didn't seem to want to let me shoot my rifles at them). Casanova protected me when I was down, and the rest of the creatures were killed, and then the wasps began attacking, although they were taken care of with smoke (and fire).

After I regained consciousness we examined their weapons, which we named 'Stun' Sticks, and found that they were powered by strange batteries, with a dial on each side that had 6 symbols which were presumably the amount of power that was being used to 'Stun'. And another button, that we found was what switched the stun sticks from stun to lethal. The batteries themselves have 30 different symbols on them (one of which was glowing slightly), which we speculated was probably how much charge was left in them.

After was finished experimenting with the stun sticks we heard muffled sound similar to the creatures from the far side of the room. Ziggy investigated the sound, in the hopes that he could still try to gain access diplomatically.   The noises led to a room with chemicals tanks, sewage and other gardening equipment. Ziggy found a small child like version of the creatures we fought in the garden. Ziggy tried to calm it down and communicate with it, while I used the supplies to make a torch for us. After a bit of calming him down, and when we started to discuss what to do with the kid, it began catching on and glanced at Jackie and I and then at the ropes (I suspect he may have be a bit afraid of us). So we tied him up and hid him, figuring someone should find them when they investigated the farm.

Entry 19a: Dreams and Visions

Last night I had a strange dream that started with the words "Jackie Dethewright" and an image of Jackie. Then it changed to an endless repeat of myself running and repeating "Never going back. Not after that. Never going back. Not After That.

I'm certainly not planning on going back to sleep any time soon
 -------------------------

As we began to fly to the top of Devil's Tower I had a vision of the portal we were trying to reach at the end of a long hallway down several ramps, although my memory is hazy on how many, it could be anywhere between one and eight. The room containing the portal is semicircular and the portal itself is against the back curved wall.  I also later heard "level E. last door on the right. Understand."

Entry 19: Cutting it close

When I asked if Jackie could make me some of her 'spiritfucker' rounds, she told me that while we couldn't make the bullets she was using (due to lack of materials such as depleted Uranium), she did have blueprints for dual-nature bullets that could be made with the resources we had available. When I asked for the blueprints Smoke got angry and threatened to burn the blueprints if I even thought about making them, so I dropped it (and asked for a copy of the blueprints when he wasn't paying attention, just in case we needed to make them later, but she was going to respect Smoke's decision).

Since Smoke was adamantly objecting to using the rounds that were consistently effective against Stone, I spent my time upgrading my electroshock rifle with a new design Smoke had worked on that would make it charge faster and store energy more efficiently. The designs were much easier to implement than I had expected and I had the time to make one for Smoke so he had a way to help disable enemies without killing them.  We landed in the mountains for the night and turned out the spotlights to avoid enraging the bats in the area.

The next day as we were dropped off at the town of deadwood,  Jackie spotted someone falling and when Colleen looked through a telescope to get a better look she said it was someone with a hat flying dangerously on an autogyro. It looks like we didn't have as much of a lead on him as I had hoped.

We also got our first glimpse of the Devil's Tower, it looked like it was a giant tree stump, and after asking around in town we were told that the legend of the Devil's Tower was a giant tree that was chopped down by a giant bear and that it was surrounded by the Pahowmakonsika, which roughly translates to 'pale mountain devils'.  The locals avoided the place out of superstition.

After getting what information we could from the locals we began discussing how we would get in to the portal inside. There was a river the went in and out at the gate of the tower, but getting there would require possibly having to deal with the pale mountain devils surrounding the tower. Eventually we settled on flying to the top and working our way down the tower to where the portal was.

Also after spending time around Jackie, I have started to notice that she bears more than a passing resemblance to me, she might know more about who I am than she is willing to share.

Entry 18: Dropping the Bomb

Wilson certainly lived up to his boasting, he flew us nearly on top of the speeding train, and we lowered ropes down to prepare to board the train and confront Stone.  Unfortunately Stone noticed us and began to shoot at our plane.  Ziggy shouted that Stone was an enemy of the states and we began to drop down the ropes into the train. Even more unfortunately Stone is holding a little girl hostage, who said "This is worse than Plum Tree" which seemed to get a strong reaction from Smoke.  I shot the bastard in the head, but he just became intangible and ignored it and clubbed the little girl in the head. Ziggy instead of fighting, tried to pick Stone's pockets while he was distracted.

Then he began to laugh, it was both terrifying and infuriating at the same time, as if the thought of us thinking we could fight him was a joke ... and he might be right.  Jackie unexpectedly shot Stone through the girl he was holding hostage.  This got Stone to grab his saddlebag and declare that if we wanted the heart so much we should try to take it from him, and at the same time Jackie began to have difficulties breathing and signaled us to kill Stone. I tried to shoot him with my electroshock rifle (since he was completely ignoring my normal bullets), but it phased through him as well.  Apparently he was unable to maintain his invisible choke-hold on Jackie while he was phasing away from my attacks, so she unleashed a small hail of bullets into him, blowing several holes in his chest and launching him out of the train.

When we looked into the bag we saw the perfectly cylindrical HoD, and also noticed that the areas that Jackie shot had bizarrely distorted angles.  The hostage that Jackie had shot had apparently been real, and while I am not entirely happy with that, she couldn't afford to risk missing. Also it would seem that Ziggy managed to grab The HoD and Stone's wallet, which had a piece of a molar that apparently he could have used to track us (if I hadn't tossed it after I learned that).

Smoke is positively livid about the ammo that Jackie used to actually hurt Stone (more so than usual) and nearly attacks Jackie over it, however before anything comes of it Ziggy restrains Smoke, and we asked her about the rounds.  Which she explained were made of depleted Uranium and worked off of the Copperfield effect, which was based of of the Copperfield bomb. Jackie then continued enthusiastically (while Smoke was going absolutely ballistic) about how if it hadn't been for his work at Plum Tree she wouldn't have the rounds she used (which was obviously not what he wanted to hear, If looks could kill ...). Apparently the Copperfield bomb was a dual-nature bomb that had a conventional explosion and opened a temporary rift to the hunting grounds (presumably not the happy hunting grounds).

Even more surprising than Smoke trying to physically assault Jackie was Colleen attacking Smoke after it was revealed that he worked on the Copperfield bomb.  Jackie began to explain that Smoke's research was essential to the ability to fight them, and that she couldn't explain until we reached Devil's Tower.

Colleen surprised everyone again by asking if Jackie was from the future, and Jackie admitted she was, which certainly explained how she knew so much and had advanced technology like the Copperfield rounds.  Jackie told us that the Copperfield bomb was made as a deterrent for the Confederates. Waltzing Buffalo then began to lecture Smoke about how he was possessed by Manitous. The Copperfield bombs were also apparently banned in the Geneva convention (in 2030).  In Jackie's universe Smoke helped Heklstrome build most of his technology. She also revealed that the outpost at Devil's Tower was a portal to the future, and that it works less well in the future.

We were all passed a dossier on 'modern' (futuristic to us) technology, and figured out how she tracked us, it would seem that Bloody Sunday, and bloody Tuesday (out incident in Salt-lake) are fairly well known historical events in the future. It makes sense now, the suitcase the ringmaster had was a Plumtree bomb, and he was apparently a Texas Ranger.

When we asked about what she knew about us from the future, We were told that I was a known as a competent scientist in the future, Cogsworth Copperfield aka Smoke was famous for his Copperfield bombs and many other inventions, and that the Wheatleys (such as Casanova apparently) were known for their "non-euclidian" family tree.

Eventually Wilson was no longer willing to continue flying into Indian territory, and so he dropped us off with his younger brother Eric Stanish, who was much more willing to take risky jobs, for the right price, a price that is coincidentally the same amount that we were paid for breaking Stone out of the Rock ... This seems like it might be a trap, but it's too risky to not try.

Entry 17: Who Is Stone?

The evening after the disaster in the City of Angels we were visited by a woman named Jackie with a crew cut and wearing a duster, armed with a Gatling pistol asking if we were the troupe that had blown The Rock up. She seemed to be very stressed out and seemed to honestly want to help us, so we admitted that we were. It's good to see that Colleen recovered enough from the traumatic events she went through to crack a joke warning Casanova against trying to sleep with her.

She then told us that the apocalypse that just happened in Lost Angels was was just Grimme using a very small amount of the "Happy Dance"'s power. She then told us that Stone planned to unleash all of it's power and that we needed to get to the Devil's tower to stop him.  She also told us what Jasper Stone is. He is a Harrowed, a corpse that has been animated by a Manitou, and he was the first Harrowed and is so terrifying that his Manitou is completely cowed by Stone. He was shot in the back by his own troop during the battle of Gettysburg moments before the reckoning.  Stone is also the harbinger of death.

When we asked what a harbinger, we learned that there is a spirit world known as the hunting grounds, which is vaguely shaped like a tree; at the top is the happy hunting ground where people go to dream, but the bottom of the tree is where the dead-lands are located, ruled by 4 powerful entities known as The Reckoners or War, Pestilence, Famine and Death. These entities were sealed away, but the shamans keeping them sealed away were betrayed by a young shaman named Raven who wanted revenge against those who wronged him, which was the cause of the Reckoning.  Luckily the entities are unable to enter the world, and have to work through monsters and their Harbingers (the 4 horses of the apocalypse).

Horseman - Harbinger/Horse
Pestilence - Professor Darius Hellstrome
War           - Raven
Death        - Jasper Stone
Famine      - Reverend Ezekiel Grimme

Jackie then told us that she is from the organization that controls both the Texas Rangers and the Agency, which if it were coming from anyone else I would dismiss as nonsense, but with what she knows it almost seems plausible. She then told us that we would need to hide the Happy Dance at the Devil's Tower and into the dead-lands where it would be harmless (since it worked by taking power from the dead-lands, which wouldn't matter or work if it was in the dead-lands)

Understandably she wanted to come with us, and it couldn't hurt to have another experienced gunslinger if we were going after Stone again, and now that we know the what 'game' we are playing and the stakes, I am sure we can succeed in stopping Stone, because otherwise ...

Jackie told us that we would need to ditch our wagons and take the train, which we were not to keen on doing, since we were rather attached to our wagons, and would be unlikely to get them back if we left them unguarded in the desert. Unfortunately when we got to the train station the train was already speeding off, so we quickly arranged for our wagons to be loaded and sent on the next train and found an Irish pilot, named Wilson, who was willing to fly us where we needed to be quick, for a price.

Entry 16: Sunday, Bloody Sunday

Bloody Sunday for us started at 6 in the morning when we returned to Lost Angels  at 6 in the morning, on a Sunday in the middle of April in the year 1876.

After we got to the docks, we quickly headed to the pi shop to meet the owner. We informed him that the meat pies people were being fed were made using human flesh, and that without doing that the population of Lost Angels was likely not sustainable, but that we should take him down anyway to stop his atrocities (and get the HD back) and that we needed to act fast since he was planning something big today. So we quickly mobilized the troops, while we were tasked with convincing the population that Grimme was evil and we were the good guys. A daunting task, but if anyone could pull it off, it would be our ragtag group of actors, especially with Cassanova and Malady to help. We were advised that bullets might not be enough to win this battle, we would need to cut away his support. We agreed that that was most likely true. The pi shop owner eagerly pulled out a massive Gatling gun and the rebellion began getting pallets of dynamite ready with labels for different places.

When we exited the pi shop, the city was completely deserted and the sky was completely cloudy (which was odd considering we were in a desert) and gave off a ... bad feeling. The air was strangely think, and the smell of ozone was everywhere. We decided to rush to the church, which when we got there was enormous, holding the entire population of the city within it (hundreds of meters in either direction). As we got there the clouds began to release their contents, burning what it touched, it seemed that the sky was full of acid rain. So we ran into the atrium of the church, and before we entered Old Pete tossed a pair of extra colt walkers to Jasper, matching the pair he had. After we entered the atrium we loaded our weapons and prepared for a showdown with Grimme. The guards at the event seemed very anxious and Jittery, and the inside of the auditorium seemed to be the eye of the storm raging on outside. The auditorium was full of pews which I pointed out would make good sniping points to take out Grimme before he managed to do whatever he planned to do. The Auditorium also seemed to have somewhere around 20,000 people in it.

We also spotted our objective, the Heart of Darkness was sitting on the pulpit and glowing, which probably meant we were too late, but we couldn't give up when we were this close.  So we began taunting and rally the people against Grimme to varying degrees of success. Smoke, as usually decided to go out and bellowed across the massive stadium "You sick cannibalistic FUCK, how could you butcher your own followers, and make them into those meat pies" (the last part may have been a bit different, I was rather busy trying to kill Grimme before he could finish what he was doing. Unfortunately, despite having shot him squarely in the eye, he didn't even flinch and at the same time, the air seems to shatter behind Grimme and a colossal Creature appearing to be a demon shows up standing at least 60 feet tall. Strangely Grimme turned to face it and began glowing, looking for all intents and purposes to be a divine conduit for some wrathful god. Why he went through such lengths to summon a demon to fight it is quite a puzzle to me, perhaps he was proving to his worshipers that he was an actual divine messenger. The demon releases and aura of his own, but its aura is harsher than Grimme's and is less oppressive feeling. Grimme begins to look enraged at the demon, while the demon begins to laugh, which was truly a grating sound to hear.

The Demon then breathes out a cloud of thick black smoke over the crowd, causing thousands of abominations that seemed as if they were dredged up from our worst nightmares. The smaller abominations quickly began tearing into the crowd of people in the stadium while Grimme was wrestling with the demon.  As we were fending off the human sized monsters, a towering creature nearly 15 feet tall with one eye and 5 globuous pustuoles began advancing towards us and breathes out a stream of fire at Ziggy bellowing "Die! ... Again". (Interestingly it seem to be aware that he is harrowed). Smoke tosses a flash grenade at it, and like so many of the devices he used it acted weirdly with half of it flying off and hitting a wall while the other half exploded with lethal force. (Well it seems to be working out for us fairly well so far).  Eventually with more shots and effort than It normally takes to kill something we managed to blow the demon thing in half, but were quickly attacked by more of the smaller amorphous creatures swarming the stadium. As I glanced back at the podium I noticed that the Heart of Darkness was gone.  The smaller creatures began fusing together into an emaciated looking but much bigger demon, and the fire breathing one with pustuoles reformed itself. Apparently the giant one is something known as a fear-monger.

Malady was attempting to rally the people in the stadium, and despite a good if corny effort the few who tried to rally were quickly cut down by the creatures, and soon they all ignored him in favor of fleeing in terror. The huge demon apparently grew wings from its back and began to fly above us, restricting some of our abilities to hurt it (or re-kill it), and the emaciated fused one breathed out a swarm of stinging insects all over us.  Ziggy in a dramatic act knifed the flying demon in the back with a silver dagger he had and held on to. We continued to fight the two monstrosities and eventually take the big one down again and had the fused one severely damaged, when Grimme dramatically punched the massive demon in the face, causing it to bellow out "He's too strong, we must flee my brothers" (I suppose as far as performances go it was well staged, if a bit brutal).

The demons begin to retreat, melt, explode into lawyers, accountants, bugs, and other unsavory demon things (I am not joking about the lawyers and accountants one, apparently a few of the monstrosities were actually made of what appeared to be well dressed corpses with briefcase). The church was completely totaled from all of the fighting with 'demons' that had been going on, and there were still a couple hundred people who were still alive out of the tens of thousands that were there before, the carnage was ... staggering. Outside the church was a scene of destruction and Armageddon, and when we looked out at the waters, the rock, which we had only recently completely destroyed and sunk (by accident, but we still did), was perfectly intact. All around us are dead and dying people, this was the stuff of nightmares, the visions of this day will likely haunt me for the rest of my life along with the many other horrors I have seen, and what might be.  We managed to find Jasper uninjured and returned to Storinjor's warehouse where we were planning on meeting after we attempted to stop the incident, which sadly we failed at, but we survived, the warehouse, appeared to be relatively unscathed.  Old Pete had managed to snag the heart of darkness while everyone was distracted by the demons, which was a relief at the time, because Grimme had only had the stone for a brief time and he caused all of this, we were glad he no longer had it, and that we would finally be able to return it and wash our hands of the damned rock. Jasper appeared to have no nose and looks famished when we see him. Old Pete then took off his mask, and instead of what we had seen before it was a spitting image of Jasper Stone's face. Old Pete then told Jasper something like "Shall we, the future awaits".

I will admit that this completely took me by surprise, I had trusted old Pete, and we went through all of the horrors of the rock, and the Sunday massacre only to  have the prize stolen from our grasps from our only ally in the city. I may have temporarily lost my wits and began spewing all sorts of conspiracy theories about how everyone was Jasper Stone in disguise and that stone killed stone, or something like that, I have trouble recalling exactly what I said during that brief time. The two Jaspers left through the wall and we couldn't really follow them through, being unable to apparently phase through solid matter.   Before we could try to think of a way to catch up to them and get the stone back, 10 zombies armed with guns came out of the crates in the warehouse and began opening fire on us, much more quickly than most zombies I have encountered (apparently I have encountered zombies a few times before?). After a bit of a shootout and a flash grenade, Ziggy pulls a vial of nitroglycerin out of his hat, and throws it at the zombies, setting the warehouse on fire. (honestly, what is it with boys and their need to set everywhere we visit on fire).

In an unexpected twist, Grimme sent some of his angels to extend his THANKS to us for helping save his city. I was rather irritated at him, but given that he could have completely destroyed us without much effort on his part I Grimaced (hah) and accepted it. Apparently Grimme, the angels, and the populace considered us heroes. The city was full or makeshift infirmaries since the city was in triage mode, saving who they could and putting off grieving for later, if that would ever come in this city of tragedy. Walking to the pi shop we found that it was completely destroyed by what looked to be a large amount of shaped charges.  We decided to head out of Lost Angels before Grimme decided we had overstayed our "welcome" and silenced us, and as we left we got our weapons back, and for some reason I felt much safer having both my new rifle and my old rifle, they have both saved my life on more than one occasion, I even decided to name my rifle Demon Slayer, it certainly lived up to that name already.  As we were leaving the area, I felt something on the edge of our vision, and other sense that was similar to what I felt when the ringmaster died. Then I noticed that Grimme's followers here were building a church, which seemed rather odd why they would choose now to expand, given the lowered population and the similar amount of space in the city. Perhaps Grimme's little show was more than just a play on the emotions of his followers ...

Entry 15: Breaking The Rock

We began making preparations for our upcoming raid on The Rock, while waiting for sundown when we were to meet old Pete at the docks. I was being taught how to protect myself from attackers we were likely to face, Smoke was directing lab assistants to help him make flash grenades, and the others were also training in various combat techniques for when things most likely go bad during our mission.

We met old Pete at the docks and got into a relatively small boat. We were warned of the dangers of the defenses surrounding the rock, including the mutated sharks that spanned 8 to 20 feet and were covered in red armored growths, as well as the patrolling maze runners that would shoot anyone approaching the rock on sight with Gatling guns. Suffice to say, we were extra sure to be quiet and not rock the boat.

Luckily we managed to slowly get through unnoticed by either the maze runners or the sharks as we slowly moved to the sewer entrance, with reddish brown muck coming out of it. The smell nearly floored some of us it was so intense.  While at the sewer entrance, old Pete informed us that we would need a key to get to Jasper and the HoD, and that two people had the key, one would be in the top floor in Grimme's office, and the other would be on the warden, and that when we were ready to leave we should send up a flare. He also provided us with a scrap of cloth to convince stone that we could be trusted.

After sneaking in through the sewers we came on an opening into the furnace room, where two scientists were babbling about something or another, it wasn't anything noteworthy. So we snuck in and I electrocuted one of them unconscious and Casanova intimidated the other into going back to work. And then we knocked him out just to be safe.

Of course then we heard foot steps coming our way, and so we quickly hid ourselves and the unconscious workers, while Malady used his magic to make himself look like Grimme himself and began shovelling coal into the fire. After somehow convincing the person that it was some sort of religious symbolism that the coal was the unbelievers fueling the flame of the belief of the true followers he headed off with the person to attempt to get the key we needed. Meanwhile we began to look around the hallways, and when I used my newly crafted spirit lens (it allows me to see into the spirit world, I figured it might be useful for this mission) to look into one of the dead ends, I saw terrible things, that I dare not try to recall.

So we avoided that hallway, and opened another door, only to find there were 3 people butchering human bodies, who quickly attacked us, and if it weren't for a lucky deflection on my part one of them would have taken my head clean off. I retaliated by shooting him point blank in the chest. Cassanova and Ziggy run in and attacked another with their sword and throwing knives respectively. and the third was quickly finished off.

We continued sneaking through the hallway, but were attacked by a man with a shotgun, and a for lack of a better word supernatural "song" was playing casing all of us except Coleen and Smoke to go up the staircase past a pile of bubbling bones, which horrifically coalesced into a slurping, laughing, burbling mutant. Luckily we managed to shake off the effect, and Malady showed up in the room with the man we had moved to, with the warden held hostage. So we returned down the stairs to help coleen and Smoke fight the blood golem. The sight of it was revolting and caused many of us to lose the contents of their stomachs. I Took my rifle and shot it in the center of mass, hoping that it would be damaged by that. and then a third time before it could reach me, which was enough to destroy it.
The monstrous blood golem was apparently created using an object that the warden threw (a bone) which he had 3 more of.

Finally after more searching of rooms we found a storage room, which was full of flour for "meat pies" as well as ghost rock fuel. At this point it was fairly clear how Grimme was keeping people fed, and some of us were quite shocked by this despite the clues left for us in previous rooms. After that we went down another hallway and found 2 locked doors which, led to 5 cells that seemed to suppress all arcane effects, in which I felt strangely fine, unfortunately the cells were empty so we had to search elsewhere for where Jasper was being kept.

Another path led to a torture room with a creepy man sharpening knives, Smokes ended up tripping and alerting him to our presence. So I reacted quickly and nearly shot him perfectly, but he chose that moment to duck upon hearing a noise so the shot was a glancing shot. Luckily Ziggy threw his knives at the torturer and killed him, a rather fitting for him I suppose.

The next room had several large ovens, several cutting tables and gore covering the floor and walls. Occupying the room were 3 chefs that were nearly as wide as they were tall, and they towered at nearly 9 feet tall, wearing bloody chef's hats and wielding blood stained cleavers. These chefs began SLIDING towards us on the gore covering the floor, and I began to fire at them but was quickly blinded by a bright flare of light as a flash grenade went off in front of my face. Luckily Cassanova was able to use his pistol to damage one of them (female possibly, I didn't really want to check). And the other two were dispatched fairly easily, although they did get a few good hits of their own in before we took them down.

Unfortunately, 2 angels showed up around the corner to investigate the loud explosion he heard, smoke is not very good at stealth operations. One of them managed to scream out something like "Code 66ba-argh" as he was silenced but not quickly enough. We quickly retreated to the store room as 2 flights of angels showed up with more reinforcements on the way.  Luckily what Smoke lacks in stealth he makes up for in the ability to create explosives (often unintentionally) and so we devised a plan using flour, some of the fireworks I kept from our show in junkyard and smoke's flash grenade to make a trap for the angels. The flour would be tossed out, the flash grenade would be thrown causing the flower to spread through the air, then the fireworks would be set off igniting the flour.  So Cassanova, being an actor at heart, Yelled "Feel the true wrath of God" to the angels as smoke tossed his grenade, Colleen used some sort of magic and asked if god could create a being more powerful than himself to the angels, causing them to stand in confusion while Cassanova rescued Malady (Still disguised as grimm) from the angels, and then I threw the fireworks, and we slammed the doors shut.

The explosion was nearly deafening and knocked the large iron doors we were bracing and had bolted clean off their hinges, and we fled out of the warehouse as the stockpiles of flour and ghostrock began catching fire. Throughout the compound code 666 was being repeated over a series of tubes that lead to all of the rooms and hallways. We headed down the staircase quickly only taking the time to set up a tripwire trap to trigger another "flour-grenade-firework oh my" trap (we didn't have time to think of a good name).

We reached a room with bone sculptures along the walls depicting people eating themselves, it was quite unnerving, but fitting considering the cannibalistic tendencies of Grimme and his followers. The room also contained a lamp, a heavy black curtain and an alter, to whatever monster Grimme actually worshiped most likely, there was also a thick locked door that we attempted to lockpick, which broke the lockpick before deciding we should try the key we took from the warden. When we used the key, the door practically sucked in the key like a devouring maw before releasing it and opening, revealing a huge room with a throne on the far side so red that it was almost black, and the entire room was filled with bones that were about 3feet deep in most places, and more like 8 feet high near the walls. The room was made more unnerving as every so often it almost sounded like there was rattling and shifting among the bones.

Deciding to not go anywhere near the throne unless necessary we instead traversed the bones cautiously and entered the northern most door of the room, ending up in Grimme's Laboratory, which also had some jail cells in it, as well as a emaciated body on a stone slab. We also spotted an anatomical drawing of something called a faminite near the table. The creature in the drawing may have at one point been human,  but significantly altered by some occult method. The laboratory was also filled with racks of alchemical and chemical solutions. We also saw a man in one of the cells when we investigated them, surrounded by candles with a pentagram on the floor surrounding him. Walzting buffalo used his whip to extinguish a candle, and the man began looking healthier.  We showed the man the cloth and he told us his name was Jasper Stone, and having confirmed he was who we were looking for we freed him from his cell. We mentioned that we need to pick up the heart of darkness before we made our escape which caused him to make a lot of weird faces, which considering it was the reason he was imprisoned and tortured by Grimme, I didn't give a second thought. We split up to search for the HD more quickly since we were running out of time, so Ziggy and I being the stealthiest looked in the other room coming off of the bone pit room, which contained bone sculptures that were most likely made by Grimme himself, clearly Grimme is a people person (I suppose making jokes about the horrors Grimme was committing might be tasteless, but better to not let things get to you and try to fix them than mourning.).

Finding nothing of value we returned to the stairs only to find it guarded by a small army of guardian angels (~60 give or take some if my estimation is right) and that our trap was disabled. Smoke throws one of his flash grenades at the trap to set it off so we can escape from them. Apparently though the grenade was made in a bizarre was that caused a simple flash grenade to be extremely lethal, as Smoke explained it later, it had somehow ended up being a poly-nitrogen grenade instead of a magnesium grenade, suddenly being blinded by his flash grenade became a much preferable option than having this happen to us. So we all bolted out through the flames before the stockpiles caught on fire completely, unfortunately as we were escaping through the sewers (luckily out escape rout was still intact after the initial explosion), the flames reached the flour and coal, as well as the alcohol reserves, and worse, the room above it was full of dynamite, so we had very little time to escape before we went down with the island. We barely made it out of the sewer vent before the fire spread and ignited the methane in the sewers. Luckily Old Pete was there waiting for us, and we quickly pile in the boat, while Ziggy pulls a whistle out of his hat and plays taps, and Old Pete increases the boats speed by a nearly 100%, and we manage to outrun both the maze runners and the monster sharks, as the island goes up in flames behind us. During this time Smoke was shell-shocked at the damage his grenade has caused (indirectly), it must have hit extra hard since he is a pacifist, and does not want to kill people, which is why he made flash grenades in the first place. Colleen appeared to also be near catatonic, and given her fear of fire coupled with the explosions we nearly were caught up in was understandable.

Old Pete pays us $1800 in union gold for getting Jasper out of the Rock, Again it seemed reasonable considering what we had just gone through. Old Pete then informed us that Grimme was going to do something big today involving the HD, and that we needed to get to the church, but that we should go to the pi shop first.

Entry 14:City of Angels

We arrived at a town near Lost Angels and left the wagons there with Cookies staying behind to guard them and walked the rest of the way to the city. We went into the city and passed through the checkpoint leaving our obvious weapons behind to be picked up when we leave, luckily I was able to sneak in my electroshock rifle.

Smoke cursed at some minor thing and reacted poorly when told that he should refrain from cursing in a city with extremely strict punishments for things like that, which if he paid attention to the dossier I so kindly let him read he should have known. It was about this time that we noticed how underfed and hostile the populace of the city seemed to be towards us, since we were well fed.

We quickly headed to Hardwick's and to the presidential suite where there had been a large amount of explosions. We bribed Hardwick to allow us to investigate and when we examined the place and questioned Hardwick on what happened, we were told that Grimme himself and 2 guardian angels had come for jasper and that the room had scorch marks which didn't seem to have radiated in any way, which was completely abnormal. We tried to ask around for who may have ratted out Jasper and told Grimme about the Happy Dance, and we found that the inquisitor of the guardian angels might know. When we got the the inquisitors office we saw one of the most obese men I have ever laid my eyes on, when we asked who the informant was, he pushed a file on the table that was open on the table into a drawer and told us they don't reveal who the informants are.

Luckily for us I was able to read where the informant was located and saw that he was in Murphy's Flophouse, so we headed there. When we got there we found that Sneed was there and had been drinking for a few days strait and sharing drinks with all of the other patrons, with the large sum of money he had obtained from delivering the Heart of Darkness to Jasper and then selling both of them out to Grimme.

Apparently Smoke was an old friend of Sneed's and managed to talk the other patrons down from a fight and subtly asking Sneed about why he did what he did and where the heart was. Sneed was not responsive at first, but Smoke managed to calm him down and convince him to tell us, after getting him back to his room, he fell unconscious after talking to Smoke for a bit. Leaving us slightly at a loss as to what to do.

Soon after that a man showed up and told us that he could help us, he admitted to being a thief who had managed to escape from The Rock, Grimme's island prison, a feat which drew my attention, and said that he knew where Grimme had the heart and that if we helped him free his partner from the rock, he would help us get the HoD back. He told us to meet him in the labyrinth where we could speak more freely.

We met him there and he took off the mask he was wearing to reveal a maimed and repulsive face with a pentagram carved into his forehead, and told us it was from his torture at Grimme's hands. We were convinced to help him rescue Jasper in exchange for his help, maybe look around a bit in the rock for my mysterious benefactor while I was there. He told us to talk to the innkeeper and tell him the password of "Pi" to get directions to where we needed to go. So we got directions from him to an abandoned warehouse full of individuals who were ready to shoot us down until we told them the password and who sent us and our plan to break into the Rock. Upon hearing our plan they equippedd us with some of the highest quality armor and weapons, and we were equipped with matching black leather dusters, except for me of course as I already had one, in exchange we promised them that while we were in there we would try to find out how Grimme was keeping all of his followers fed in the barren desert so that they could rebel and eliminate him without causing the entire city to starve. So now we are training and waiting for nightfall to begin our infiltration, they also kindly provided me with a new rifle to use.

Entry 13b:Lost Angels Dossier
